Caitlin and Gamal are the sweetest, kindest, hottest couple around. We met them in the summer of 2018 when our friendor, Kristen Hennke [Photography] called us excitedly to let us know her best friend was engaged and looking for a wedding planner. We could tell from the moment of Kristen’s call that we would love these two. Kristen Hennke couples are always amazing, cool, and fun to work with!
Caitlin and Gamal are a decisive couple that is full of style. From our first meeting, they knew exactly what they wanted and how to make their wedding day a great experience for their guests! They were all about a perfect venue, great music, yummy food, and booze – and most importantly, the company of their friends and family.
No detail was overlooked during their planning, from the stunning backdrop of the Superstition Mountains to all of the signs and décor, which were made by the groom himself. The pops of burgundy in the bouquets and table settings reflected the couple’s hip and adventurous side. However, the real stars of the show were the love and strength that exist between Caitlin and Gamal. We hate that hiccups were a part of this amazing couple’s day, but these two were all class as they took the mishaps in stride. From forgotten bridesmaids’ dresses to a blown fuse during the couple’s first dance, Caitlin and Gamal kept their smiles throughout their otherwise perfect day. Without a doubt, it is their lovable personalities and the fact that they were surrounded by loved ones that kept their positivity flowing all day.
Packed with touching moments, the wedding day was beautiful from morning til night. Caitlin looked breathtaking in her Hayley Paige gown and had been glammed up with the help of hair and makeup whizzes Kristy Wallace and Desirae Sawyer. Once everyone was ready, there was a back-to-back sobfest of first looks. To start, the father-daughter meeting stole our breath away. Then came the tearful GQ-style groom at his first look. These intimate and moving moments drove home just how loving this couple and their families are. Our hearts finally took a break with some much-needed laughter at the wine box sealing during the stunning ceremony. As they said their vows, Caitlin and Gamal were framed by the gorgeous Superstition Mountains. Later, guests were wined and dined al fresco-style during cocktails and dinner before they danced the night away under the stars.
Caitlin and Gamal are a real example for all couples to follow. Much like marriage, a wedding day, now matter how perfectly planned, will have unexpected moments and things that don’t go quite as planned. It is love and positive attitudes that help ground and remind you of what the day is really about – and that is walking hand in hand with and marrying the love of your life. We love these two and we’re so grateful to now call them friends!!
